At the heart of her musical endeavors is her solo career, collaborating with a cellist to create captivating and cinematic folk music. Her compositions are a unique blend of soul-stirring melodies and heartfelt lyrics, drawing listeners into a world of enchanting storytelling. In addition to her solo work, Sam is the lead singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist for the alternative funk rock band, Friendly Thieves. With their energetic performances and infectious grooves, the band has garnered a loyal following and captivated audiences with their dynamic sound. Central to Sam's musical expression is her beloved electric jazz master ukulele, custom-made for her by Banner Guitar Works in Cape Town, South Africa. This instrument serves as an extension of her creative voice and allows her to explore new sonic territories.

Music is magic. It's energy, it's water, it's true love. Not only does it hold all my memories, but it flows in me and in everything around me.
